FRANKFURTER KUNSTVEREIN

Founded in 1829, the Frankfurter Kunstverein is one of Germany´s oldest institutions of its kind. Our aspiration is to highlight the social relevance of contemporary art. For this reason we consciously seek innovative models that re-define the relations between art and its audience. This leads to a continuous comment on and dialogue with the present, its problems, challenges and aspirations. The program of the FKV is devoted to international contemporary art, and stands for openness towards new developments.
